What began as a brief visit to a small church in Wales, Hanover Chapel, Llanover, has resulted in a growing love for the people to whom Robert Jermain Thomas (RJT) served.   RJT’s life was short but consequential and is an inspiration to many. 

“My research has taken me on a fascinating journey across continents, from the United States to Great Britain.  Several scholarly institutions, including the University of London, Princeton Seminary, New Jersey and Yale Divinity School, Connecticut, held fascinating gems about the life of Thomas,” says author, Stella Price.

“The journey began as an academic exercise,” says Stella, “but the doors that opened to me caused me to understand more fully the plight of the Koreans.  It was easy to catch the flame of the Holy Spirit when I spent time with Dr. and Mrs. Samuel Hugh Moffett who had served in Korea for many years.  I was brought to my knees to pray for those Koreans who are still suffering.  Tears were shed with many Christians who continue to feel the loss of relatives that they have not seen for many years.  It has become a privilege to pray for my brothers and sisters in Asia.  I am thankful for God’s leading as he has directed this research.  The academic pursuit has become a living dynamic relationship with my brothers and sisters in Christ in both China and Korea.”
